Esdec Solar Group among the 53 fastest growing companies in The Netherlands

This year the Financieele Dagblad (a daily Dutch newspaper focused on economics and business) introduced the international version of the prestigious FD Gazellen Awards for the first time: The FD Gazellen International Award. We are very proud of our contribution to this. Not only are we one of only 53 nominees that met all criteria, our CEO Stijn Vos was also part of the jury that assessed all companies that are fast-growing at an international level.

New award

This international award is an extension of the general FD Gazellen awards, given to fast-growing companies in The Netherlands, and is for Dutch companies with international success. Only the FD Gazellen of the past year can register for this award. However, they must meet several criteria. One of the most important conditions is that in 2022 at least 25% of group turnover must have been achieved abroad and that turnover must have grown by at least 25% in the period from 2020 to 2022.

Nominated

We are proud that Esdec Solar Group meets all the criteria and therefore received a nomination for this award. Yesterday, April 6, the FD Gazellen International Award was presented during the Trends in Export event in Rotterdam. Of course, we would like to congratulate the winner i3D.net on winning this great prize. All nominees were assessed on various points by an experienced jury. In addition to Corinne Goddijn-Vigreux (member of the board of directors of TomTom) and Hanneke Vergeer (financial director of Vergeer Holland), our own CEO Stijn Vos was also a member of the jury.

Growth

The most important part of the FD Gazellen (International) Award remains the growth aspect of the company. At Esdec we continue to grow. Not only because the market currently has a huge demand for solar energy. Our growth mainly stems from our ambition to become the world’s largest supplier of mounting systems for solar panels and thus contribute to a world with sustainable energy.
